Lenovo Support Center Windows 10 You can also get an extensive support on How to navigate and download Lenovo software or drivers. Run Driver Easy and click Scan Now button. Recommended Fix: With Driver Restore It is likely you are unable to manually download Lenovo drivers for your device due to difficulties in locating the exact drivers. Lenovo Hotkeys - make sure you installed the latest BIOS drivers from support site.

Download Lenovo Z500 Notebook Drivers For Windows 7,8.1 - Click the Update button next to a specific driver to automatically download and install the correct version of this driver you can do this with the FREE version. Below mentioned are precise steps that you can follow easily.

I own a Z500 Touch which, excepting Bluetooth only works when my PC is reboot I don't know why , the laptop goes really well. Today is the day when W10 release. I've been watched and Lenovo says my laptop is not on the list of the recommended PC to upgrade. The PC neither appeared on the list to upgrade W8. Lenovo hasn't realeased any kind of update or new driver for the laptop in a official way at the moment at least. I'd like to know if you recommend me to update or not update, because I'm afraid of apps like Energy Management stop working correctly, or drivers like the wi-fi one, in spite of the compatibility test from Get Windows 10 said that my PC can run the new SO with no problem. If someone has tried with this laptop Windows 10 or has any idea, I'd be glad to hear it. Theoretically you won't really need new drivers from Lenovo, the Windows Upgrade does drivers and stuff itself and brings them over from the old OS at least in my experience earlier this morning. However, since there's no real rush to get Windows 10, you might as well wait if you aren't sure or aren't comfortable upgrading yet. They'll be fixing bugs along the way and you have a full year to upgrade for free, so there's no need to do it as soon as possible. One thing to watch out for is NVIDIA drivers are a bit wonky at first and you'll need to update Windows 10 from Windows Update, so don't be freaked out if your screen looks weird at first. Well I made the jump recently Z500 nontouch corei7, nvidia740 and I can say the OS is really nice. Especially the browser, Edge, which is a freaking beast. Also the new start environment is so much better and faster than the Windows 8. I recommend you try it out. Just make sure you make a backup with Lenovo onekey recovery just in case you experience an incompatibility. But so far I've only encountered very minor issues with the upgrade. The upgrade step was reminiscent of the jump to 8. Good thing about it is you get to keep ALL YOUR FILES AND PROGRAMS. The downside is it's not a fresh installation so there might be some issues if you've tweaked your registry and system files. Also you make a huge windows. Once upgrade is done, the OS works off the bat, using most of your previous settings and preferences. You will immediately feel the difference. Also all of my programs work without compatibility issues so far. All my files are all in the same places were I left them and changes to user folders are maintained. However like the upgrade from windows 8 to 8. Good thing is you can use your 8. The energy management and onekey theater programs will work once you installed the right drivers. So far the only problem I've encountered is with the camera. But I have yet to reinstall the driver which I believe would fix it. But I expect there will be issues as some users report that the Windows Camera app is really buggy to begin with. All in all that's what I've experienced so far. I'm just 12 hours since upgrading. I'll update you once some other problems pop out. In my tweaking of the various drivers, I encountered this issue also but unfortunately I could not recall on what I was particularly doing that fixed it. In anycase, its usually due to installing the wrong driver. If I recall directly this happened to me when I wanted to get smartpad options on my touchpad and I installed a driver for Acer for my Lenovo z500 a solution I found on this site when I was still using windows 8. One of the features there which I wanted from it was it disabled the touchpad automatically when a mouse is plugged in. My guess was there was an incompatibility that resulted in it disabling my keyboard too. My suggestion is 1 get help from a tech savvy person first a friend so he can troubleshoot if something goes horribly wrong. In anycase the first thing you should do is try to uninstall your drivers for your mouse and keyboard. Better do it in safemode as you will lose your ability to use your input options you can't type or use your mouse. Windows should then automatically install generic drivers for your touchpad and keyboard. For me, I did not anticipate that I would lose all input options while doing this a really doh! Once you are done, I suggest you install the windows 8. Just select to sort by OS Win8. Use the version 10 as version 9 would make your graphics switching off. Do not use the generic lenovo driver automatically installed by Win 10 as you will have brightness issues. Adjust to your preference. But if you want to get your Dolby Home theater back, uninstall your sound drivers from Uninstall programs and Device manager and reinstall the realtek audio drivers from your lenovo recovery partition drive D. Lenovo Hotkeys - make sure you installed the latest BIOS drivers from support site. Just go with what works. Bluetooth should be accessible using the Windows 10 start menu. Webcam Realtek Easycam - autoinstalled driver is buggy. Which is weird as autoinstalled driver from Win8. Also updating via youcam site wasn't allowed by windows10 as the certificates were expired. What I did was reinstalled the driver from Lenovo Recovery Partition drive D and it finally worked. But I don't use the webcam so much so I'm not sure if there will still be problems. I upgraded to Windows 10 and had numerous problems with screen blinking, an unresponsible start menu, and desktop icons that wouldn't work either. The only thing I could get to function after logging in was the task manager. After talking to i've finally got back to windows 8. I really liked the look of the little I saw of Windows 10 and I so want the start button back. I am using the ideapad z400 touch and have been upgraded to windows 10. I am facing the problem with the intel HD graphics 4000 display driver that I install from lenovo site. The driver seems like not fully compatible with windows 10. Besides, my pc can't go to sleep mode. When I select sleep for my pc, the screen went black and it takes a long time to sleep but actually it is not, then it will shut down on its own. I have to press the power button to turn it on again. I think this problem is also related to the display driver. I have no problem with this display driver on windows 8. I really hope that Lenovo will come out a new display driver for windows 10 because I prefer windows 10 than windows 8.
